BRIEFING AND CONCEPTION
Jules and the team at Lucas ProTools met to develop the Lucas ProFinish and create a marketing strategy for launching in the UK market.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT STAGE 1
Jules worked closely with the partners in developing techniques for a high-quality manufacturing process, as well as superb design for packaging to suit the product.
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT STAGE 2
Design and development of a range of product accessories including the ProComb and the ProCondition.
Jules and Lucas approached the globally-recognised Dupont Manufacturing to produce the ProFinish' unique blend of filament.

GREEN LIGHT MEANS GO!
With the product finalised, a brand new website and full marketing communication materials go live, ahead of the product launch date. The product was launch on the 27th November 2014.
2015 THE RED DOT
The Lucas ProFinish is bestowed the prestigious Red Dot for Product Design. The Red Dot Award was created by Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen and with around 17,000 entries each year it is one of the best-respected design competitions in the world.

BFM and Lucas ProTools received an award for "Best Product Launch" in the Construction Marketing Awards 2015. The judges comment: "Good research and collaboration at the development stages ensured the product met market demand. This is a textbook example of a well-executed launch event that gave good results".
