Overview:
Hydrorock Solutions provide Aquifer blocks, a sustainable drainage (SuDS) system of natural stone wool.

Built for Marketing (BFM) provide Hydrorock with a full marketing outsource. Hydrorock’s overall business goals are supported through an aligned marketing strategy that centres around thought leadership.

The Challenge:
Built for Marketing (BFM) started their engagement with Hydrorock Solutions in December 2019, acting as their Marketing Consultancy and outsource marketing team to launch their unique Natural Aquifer SuDS system. Since then BFM have continued to work closely with Hydrorock to offer  marketing that aligns to their sales strategy. 

The solution and results:
BFM developed and delivered the marketing strategy to launch the new Natural Aquifer SuDS system in the UK. Time was of the essence for this launch. The growing issues with flooding and drought throughout the UK, further worsened by climate change and urbanisation, meant that Hydrorock’s new SuDS system was in urgent requirement. 

Market research identified that architects and engineers working within councils were the key targets for this new SuDS system. The launch strategy included a brand-new website, CPD materials, case study promotion, sales documentation and a targeted social media strategy.

Within the space of six weeks, BFM created the brief, engaged a website design agency and successfully delivered an intuitive, image and video-led website with all necessary technical documents downloadable. BFM also created all relevant technical datasheets, installation and system overview documents. BFM have continued to manage the website regularly. This includes blog posts, SEO and website updates. Included in the marketing launch strategy was an educational CPD which allowed Hydrorock to approach engineers and architects with a solution to the current climate crisis. This CPD was made available as an online webinar during COVID lockdowns. 

Built for Marketing have been recognised for our work with Hydrorock Solutions by the ‘Construction Marketing Awards’ twice once in 2020 (best product launch) and then again in 2021 (strategic planning and management).
