Built for Marketing (BFM) has been named a finalist in the Independent Agency of the Year category at the prestigious European Agency Awards, recognising the agency’s innovative approach to strategic marketing and its continued growth across the UK and Europe.
The European Agency Awards celebrate the very best digital, creative and marketing agencies from across the continent, recognising excellence, innovation and the people behind outstanding client results. Becoming a finalist places BFM alongside Europe’s leading independent agencies and acknowledges the unique model the consultancy has developed over nearly two decades.
Founded in 2008 by marketing strategist Jules Quested-Williams, Built for Marketing specialises exclusively in the construction, building products and built environment sectors. The agency pioneered an outsourced marketing model that gives clients access to an entire team of senior specialists – covering strategy, digital marketing, PR, SEO, PPC, branding, technical content, research and design, for the cost of employing a single senior marketing professional.
Following a major transformation in 2022, BFM has evolved into a remote-first international consultancy with specialists based across the UK, Germany and Portugal. Today, the 20-strong team combines more than 300 years of industry expertise and delivers strategic marketing support to manufacturers, suppliers and organisations operating throughout the built environment.
The Independent Agency of the Year shortlist recognises agencies that consistently demonstrate commercial impact, innovation and outstanding client service.
Commenting on the announcement, Jules Quested-Williams, Founder of Built for Marketing, said:
“Becoming a finalist for Independent Agency of the Year is an incredible achievement and a reflection of the exceptional people who make up the BFM team. We’ve always believed that marketing should begin with business strategy and that clients deserve access to genuine specialists rather than generalists. This recognition validates the collaborative model we’ve built and the results we’ve delivered for our clients across the construction and built environment sectors.
“We’re grateful to our clients who continue to trust us with their businesses and ambitious growth plans.”
The recognition also reflects BFM’s continued investment in its specialist team, with five new experts joining the consultancy during 2025, further strengthening its capabilities across strategic marketing, digital communications and the built environment.
Congratulations to all the Finalists, of the European Agency Awards which will be announced 22nd September!
