Built for Marketing is pleased to welcome Rita Barata, to the European office team and additionally expertise to the UK office.
Rita has a European network, and a connection with the UK market through the group, Women in Office Design ( a global network for like-minded women to connect, collaborate and create). This platform for architects, designers, manufacturers and dealers, specifiers, space planners and workplace strategists from around the world to connect, share knowledge and discuss ideas within a dedicated design community.
Her knowledge in sustainability and background as an architect means she has a close understanding of our clients marketing strategy and is a perfect fit to support their content and comms to great effect. She has extensive research experience related to healthy building materials and with a postgraduate degree in Marketing & Product Management. After 7 years living and working in Barcelona at PMMT Forward Thinking Healthcare Architecture, she recently moved to Portugal and started her position as Associate Director at Built For Marketing EU.
Rita joined PMMT in 2013 and in 2016 she became the leading head of FRIENDLY MATERIALS: an assessment tool developed by PMMT that relates healthy indoors with its building materials. This led to several invitations to speak and having articles published.
In 2019 she became Marketing Director and managed the Communication and Product Manager’s teams. Rita was responsible for the graphic and written content for clients and also the company website and events.
Rita is excited about joining the team saying, “ I can’t wait to start working with the team and clients across Europe and UK, using my experience as an architect and in marketing to support the work at Built For Marketing”
