Overview:
Komfort is a design-led partitioning company that divides spaces by designing and manufacturing internal solid and glazed partitioning systems with integrated door sets including frameless glass doors.

Built for Marketing had worked with Komfort in 2008 at Board level to get the business ready for sale. In December 2017 we were invited to work with Komfort again with the brief of updating the company’s image and growing their presence within the specification market on a quick turnaround basis. We remain their outsourced marketing team until today.

The Challenge:
Working closely with Komfort for nearly five years now, BFM has developed and implemented a detailed marketing strategy aligning to their overall business plan to build their brand identity within the Specification market. Offering strategic advice and full marketing outsource.

The solution and results:
The main marketing objective for Komfort was to create a new image in the specification market nationally and globally, and to work to continually build the brand. The marketing activity was focused on visually changing the identity of Komfort from technical data sheets and design guides to inspiring project imagery, case studies, brochures and video content. This collateral acts as support for the sales specification team, and gives Komfort a new, fresh and aspirational identity.

BFM managed the design, build and development of their new website that was launched in 2018, from user journey considerations to CRM integration and sales leads. As well as being specification focused with imagery and technical download information, the website also acts as the hub for capturing leads by notifying the sales team when a new user registers and when documents are downloaded. All downloaded data is integrated into the CRM system and the email marketing platform, for follow-up and remarketing purposes.

Since the new website launched, website user activity has risen dramatically from 10 users a day to 200+ a day. On average, 110 new users are registering to the technical downloads area and there are around 750 documents downloaded per month. All of which have been fed to the sales team in real-time. We also worked with Komfort to update their company image and regain their market leader status.

Built for Marketing continue to act as Komfort’s marketing strategists and their fully outsourced marketing department. We are proud to be part of the team that builds on the continued success of Komfort.

We have been recognised for our work with Komfort Partitioning by the Construction Marketing Awards for three years running. In 2018 we were shortlisted for the ‘Best Strategic Planning & Management‘, and in 2019 we were shortlisted or the ‘Best Product Launch. In the 2020 awards, we were announced winners for the ‘Best Strategic Planning & Management’ and were shortlisted for ‘Best Product Launch’ again. Recently we were recognised for ‘Best Use of Content’ as finalists and have our fingers crossed! It is always a huge achievement to have our marketing strategy and delivery recognised on a national scale.

For Built for Marketing a marketing strategy is aligned to a business’s overall plan. For marketing, this plan includes reaching prospective customers and converting them into an active customer base for either their products or services. Our client, marketing strategies ensure the company’s value proposition, key brand messaging, data on target customer demographics, and other high-level elements are fully understood and communicated internally and externally.

We improve the company’s positioning by developing research within each of the key markets the client works within. Our efforts are focused on capturing of costumer and marketing perceptions through comprehensive surveys and carry out local market/competitor analysis.

The results of the research enable to communicate on a local level with each of the key markets defined by the client.

BFM manages the full process of launching a new product. We will cover everything from overview brochure, photorealistic renders, new technical data sheets, launch posters to a complete online communications plan. We also have the ability to create and manage launch events or corporate gatherings.

Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW), the biggest interior design event of the year attracting 34,000 architects, is commonly used by BFM as the stage to launch new products. We work closely with your partners or at your showroom to attract new clients and secure the existing ones.
