Overview:
Each year FINISH publication builds in content, advertising support and circulation. FINISH is the Lucas yearbook but also celebrates supplier partnerships and ‘best in class’ for the construction industry.
The Challenge:
The objective was set for the 2017/2018 edition to be even better and more beautiful than previous years, a high quality, ‘coffee table’ publication with excellent features and content including looking back at Lucas’ 6 year partnership with McLaren and highlighting new innovations such as Lucas Breathe.
FINISH is a yearbook that is an unusual advertising opportunity for Lucas suppliers and partners to align to Lucas and its award winning values. It was created to be a real leader in the construction sector.
The solution and results:
Built for Marketing worked closely with Danny Lucas to identify the high quality content needed to resonate with the FINISH readership of construction CEOs and other construction industry leaders. The publication’s layout was managed within Blinkplan and shared in regular updates with the client.
BFM oversaw the full project as well as supporting with copy writing and image sourcing. We were responsible for managing suppliers and liaising with Lucas with regards to design approval and amends.
2018 saw the Lucas Finish Yearbook win Gold at The IDA (International Design Award) for Graphic design print / editorial.
The International Design Awards (IDA) exists to recognise, celebrate and promote legendary design visionaries and to uncover emerging talent in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic, and Fashion Design.
